Why has @kakoligdastidar still not released the alleged letter of support to the NDA, purportedly signed by 20 @AITCofficial MPs & submitted to @loksabhaspeaker?
I challenge her to make that letter public! If such a letter exists, why hide it?
Every MP knows that the Xth Schedule does not permit a separate breakaway bloc. The only protection available is if at least 2/3rds of a party’s MPs merge with another party. That means these MPs would first have to defect to @BJP4Bengal & the BJP would have to accept these opportunist, corrupt, greedy politicians. Otherwise, they will be disqualified & would have to seek a fresh mandate.

Hawkers are an integral part of the informal economy at railway stations, providing affordable services to millions of passengers daily. The recent attempts to evict them have been strongly countered by our party. I salute the compassionate and timely intervention of our MP Shri Samirul Islam. People become hawkers and street vendors to earn a livelihood and support their families. Today, the lives of these poor people are under threat. Since the formation of the new BJP government, alongside various new initiatives, a harsh drive to evict hawkers has also begun.
In protest against this, I have submitted a written representation to the Hon'ble Union Railway Minister. At the same time, I have demanded proper rehabilitation for those affected.

On the issue of rebellion within the party, I can only say this: the rebel MPs chose to visit Bhupender Yadav’s residence, and even the Leader of the Opposition, Suvendu Adhikari, was present there. The message is clear—they have effectively aligned themselves with the BJP. They have chosen to replace @MamataOfficial with @narendramodi as their political leader.
I would invite each of these MPs to return to their constituencies and face the grassroots workers and the people who elected them. Let them listen to what the people have to say about their actions.
What is deeply concerning is that democratic values are steadily being eroded. Dissent is being suppressed, and an atmosphere of political intimidation is taking hold. Democracy is under strain, while authoritarian tendencies are becoming increasingly visible in West Bengal.
