🎉 The 50th Soho Village Fête is today — 1970s theme 🕺🪩 and proper community spirit. It’s bringing together residents from #Soho, #CoventGarden, #Bloomsbury, #Fitzrovia, #Camden & #Holborn 🏘️ We’re also here to support @SohoSociety, who lost £27k trying to stop something that should never have happened. A distillery was approved in a beautiful Georgian building — one that never even had planning permission to be a gym, nor a distillery 😱 The Planning Inspector ruled the use was unlawful, noting it had a shared residential staircase and garden. @SohoSociety weren’t just defending planning policy — they were standing up for residents and their homes. And maybe — just maybe — the people in that house will get their home and garden back.
