Entre 1992 y 2004 soñaba con ir a USA y ser parte de @MicrosoftLatam #PorDecirloAsi
Hice programas y diseñé casi un nuevo lenguaje de programación parecido entre @foxpro v2.6 y @VisualFoxPro v6 a partir de QuickBASIC
Me la pasaba dia y noche programando frente a una pantalla🤪

M$は無尽蔵の研究開発資金で後出しジャンケンして、勝つまで粘る体力と営業力があるからなぁ。
Surfaceはほんと粘るなぁと思ってる。
例外はWindows Phone、
そもそもやる気が感じなかったSCM系、Visual SourceSafe(github買ったのは本当に英断)、
あとなんかあります？

Aunque eso no nos impide continuar utilizándo #visualfoxpro. Lo importante es que funciona. No tiene problemas de estabilidad. El rendimiento es excelente. Las vulnerabilidades son mitigables. 🦊

Made an enormous improvement in VisualFoxPro development. I'm really into classes and object now.
It is really useful to understand classes very good... I can use now agnostic classes in various forms and part of the program

@VisualFoxPro is an old 1984 (but not dead) framework which integrates the VFP to object oriented programming. I'm noticing the progress made in coding and why all the innovations come up lately. During this "day" I was able to solve some other issues too (not linked)

𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝟲 of #100DaysOfCode - Deep diving into VisualFoxPro env. I have to learn this for work mainly but I think is cool to code with.. was able to understand all the basics and I find interesting how microsoft handle the transition to the .NET framework...

Okay, I'm going in for an "old man yells at cloud" moment, but having been writing some software in #visualfoxpro lately, and all this time later, I STILL say it's a mistake that @Microsoft retired it. It's still one of the best programming languages I've ever used.

Why do all these tools and examples seem to assume data will be coming from a nice API or some other clean source?
Where is one supposed to do the work of stitching together hundreds of Excel spreadsheets and VisualFoxPro databases? Is that Extract or Transform?
