Three weeks into Cohort 1 at the Clarylife Mentorship Academy (@clarylife_ma ) — and the quality of thinking coming out of these sessions is exactly why we built this. 19 practitioners. Brand architecture, web systems, and AI — taught as one discipline, not three silos. Every Wednesday and Friday evening, the Discord lights up with the kind of questions and debates you don't get from a course that just teaches tools. We're not teaching people how to use Canva. We're building practitioners who understand why a brand system, a web architecture, and an automation layer are the same conversation. The feedback from students has been genuinely mindblowing. Not because we're flattering ourselves — but because the depth of engagement tells you when people are actually learning versus when they're just attending. Cohort 1 is closed. But this is just the beginning. We build systems. We grow people. acad.clarylifeglobal.com #ClarylifeMentorshipAcademy #CMA #BrandSystems #WebSystems #AISystems

DID YOU KNOW the Nigerian Professor Who Invented the Multicore Processor That Powers Your Phone and Laptop Today? 🇳🇬💻 In the mid-1990s, while single-core processors were hitting their limits — struggling with heat, power, and performance, a brilliant Naija brain at Stanford saw a better way. His name: Kunle Olukotun (Oyekunle Ayinde Olukotun). Kunle, a computer scientist who joined Stanford in 1991, led the groundbreaking Stanford Hydra Chip Multiprocessor (CMP) project. He and his team built one of the first general-purpose multicore designs: multiple processor cores working together on a single chip, with support for thread-level speculation to handle parallel tasks efficiently. This wasn't just theory — it proved multicore was the future. Single-core vs Multicore (simple contrast): - Old single-core chips: One brain trying to do everything — like one person cooking, cleaning, and serving in a busy kitchen. Slow, hot, and overwhelmed. - Hydra-inspired multicore: Multiple cores sharing the load, like a team working in sync. Faster performance, better efficiency, cooler operation. That shift powers virtually every modern smartphone, laptop, server, and even the AI models training today. From Hydra research, Kunle founded Afara Websystems (later acquired), turning the idea into real-world tech like the Niagara processor. Today, he's a Stanford professor, National Academy of Engineering member, and pioneer whose work changed computing forever. Which tech pioneer inspires you most? Drop their name 👇 or bookmark if this blew your mind! #NaijaTech #DidYouKnow #KunleOlukotun

Today is the last day. Everything after today is delivery. . . Applications for Cohort 1 of the Clarylife Mentorship Academy @clarylife_ma close tonight. If you have been considering it, this is not a soft deadline. It is the deadline. . . Six months. Three tracks. Brand architecture, web systems, and AI-driven workflows, built into one structured, practitioner-led programme. . . ₦20,000. One payment. Orientation begins Wednesday, 22nd April. . . The people who sign up today are the people who finish in October with a certificate and a capstone project they built. . . If your name is not on the list by tonight, it will not be again for this Cohort. You still desire to be a part? The link is acad.clarylifeglobal.com . . I remain your BrandCore Strategist. #SimeonTaiwo #BrandCore #ClarylifeMentorshipAcademy #CMA #CohortOne #BrandArchitecture #WebSystems #AIWorkflow #SystemsThinking #ClarylifeGlobal #BuildSystems

Access a much more broad range and reach of mining datasets. After a diving session, I go look at the websystems (those identified) cited and I am thoroughly unimpressed if that is the reach and no more. I know the span is growing, I am just anxious to see the layered systems of reach and span we should be seeing in the future. I expect that. Hope I am not disappointed.

Meet British-born Yoruba scientist Kunle Olukotun who created first general-purpose multi-core CPU Kunle Olukotun Olukotun British-born Yoruba computer scientist, Dr Kunle Olukotun is well-known in the engineering industry for his substantial contributions to the field in the form of tactile inventions and in-depth research. Olukotun worked as a student to earn a bachelor’s degree from Calvin College in Michigan, then a master’s and PhD in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Michigan in 1987 and 1991 respectively. The same year he earned his doctorate, Olukotun joined the faculty of Stanford University as the Cadence Design Systems Professor in the School of Engineering and Professor of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. While at Stanford, Olukotun became the leader of the Stanford Hydra chip multiprocessor (CMP) research project. The project, described as “a promising way to build a small-scale MP-on-a-chip with a fairly simple design while maintaining excellent performance on a wide variety of applications” allowed for the development of “one of the first chip multiprocessors with support for thread-level speculation (TLS).” With this groundbreaking experience and prolific research under his belt, Olukotun founded Afara Websystems to develop “high-throughput, low-power multicore processors for server systems”. Afara was acquired by Sun Microsystems which used Olukotun’s previous technological innovations to create the UltraSPARC T1 microprocessor, more commonly known as “Niagara”, a multithreading, multicore CPU1. Olukotun is now known as the father of the multi-core processor. His research interests include computer architecture, parallel programming environments and scalable parallel systems, domain-specific languages and high-level compilers. Kunle Olukotun was elected as a Fellow of the Association for Computing Machinery in 2006 for his “contributions to multiprocessors on a chip and multi-threaded processor design”. He became a Fellow of the IEEE in 2008. Olukotun has used several words from his Yoruba heritage in his research. Afara, the name of the company he founded, means “bridge” in the Yoruba language, and he has named his server at Stanford Ogun after the Yoruba god of iron and steel, a play on words since large computers are frequently called big iron. @Kotty_111 @absoluteOMP @CouncilYou66250 @_callmebekky
