Meet Jesca Rehema, a filmmaker and cultural storyteller collaborating with AfroCROWD in Kenya. Through the AfroCROWD Indigenous Peoples Project, Jesca documents and amplifies Indigenous knowledge, with a dedicated focus on the Mijikenda community. We met Jesca through a partnership with Vintage Dreams Africa begun in 2024 at the UN Summit of the Future. Her work contributes to preserving heritage, strengthening representation and ensuring that local stories are shared on global platforms. We also call on Wales, Sanger, and wikimediafoundation trustees to reveal all sources of external pressure to deny the Gaza genocide, including from Israeli government officials or pro-lsrael advocacy networks. We live in a moment rife with misinformation, repression, and censorship. The Trump administration is taking aim at the freedom of the press and paving the way for mass media corporations to consolidate under far-right ownership.
