“Life is a storm, my young friend. You will bask in the sunlight one moment, be shattered on the rocks the next.
What makes you a man is what you do when that storm comes. You must look into that storm and shout as you did in Rome. Do your worst, for I will do mine!
Then the fates will know you as we know you.”
-Alexandre Dumas, The Count of Monte Cristo

I don't normally have this many books on the go at once, but here's what I'm reading now:
📚 Plagued by Fire, by Paul Hendrickson
📚 Built to Finish, by
@stevenpivnik
📚 Feel-Good Productivity, by
@AliAbdaal
📚 The Stoic Path to Wealth, by
@DariusForoux
📚 Who Is Max Lewis?, by Max Lewis
📚 Wonderhell, by
@heylgo
📚 The Black Count, by Tom Reiss
📚 Don Quixote, by Miguel de Cervantes
📚 Odes, by Horace
I also just finished the book At Your Command, by Neville Goddard, and thought it was INCREDIBLE!
It's absolutely not for everybody, but it's wonderfully thought-provoking, not to mention empowering, as he talks about the true power of the human mind to "out-picture" into reality the ideal images we sustain in consciousness.
Think of it like a non-scammy version of The Secret haha.
Anyway, I thought it was fantastic, and of the books pictured here, I'm closest to finishing The Black Count, which is the true story behind The Count of Monte Cristo (quite possibly my favorite novel of all time).
Dumas based the novel on the true events of his own father's life, and man, those TRUE events read like a novel! Another just incredible book. Loving it so far.
What are you reading now? And how many books do you normally have on the go at any one time?
