Attended the Hinckley and Bosworth Mayor’s Charity Fundraiser last night at the Green Rooms in Hinckley. A good evening raising money for the Mayor Richard Flemming’s Mayor’s Charities Worklink Hinckley and Leicestershire Air Ambulance.

Over 100 participants stopped by to learn about @DukeEnergySC career opportunities, energy efficiency programs, and the many ways Duke Energy supports our communities. @DukeEnergySC was represented at the first-ever WorkLink Trade Skill Resource & Job Fair, organized by the South Carolina Department of Social Services. The event took place at the Anderson County Economic Development faculty, drawing 34 attendees interested in exploring job opportunities with Duke Energy and its contractors. Furthermore, Duke Energy showcased information on energy conservation and billing assistance.

I was proud to take part in today’s career fair, sponsored by the SC Works WorkLink and hosted at the Cherokee county Library in Gaffney! The event welcomed 47 attendees who had the opportunity to explore career opportunities with @DukeEnergySC and our contractors. We also shared helpful information on energy efficiency programs and billing assistance options designed to support our customers. Events like this make a real difference in connecting people with resources for their future!l

Yesterday, I participated in the SC Works WorkLink Resource and Career Fair, connecting with 187 attendees and sharing information about career opportunities with @DukeEnergySC and community resources.

Today, I had the privilege of participating in a career fair at Gaffney Middle School in Gaffney, SC. It was hosted by SC Works WorkLink and was a rewarding experience connecting with 75 individuals interested in exploring career opportunities with @DukeEnergySC and our trusted contractors. I was also grateful to have several of my wonderful coworkers there to help support the event!

Round 2 for the day!! I had the privilege of attending the Job and Resource Fair at Tri-County Tech in Pendleton hosted by @SCWorksinfo WorkLink this evening, which was a testament to the power of community-driven initiatives. I was proud to be part of an event dedicated to empowering our local workforce and strengthening our community through collaborative efforts. Events like this underscore the vital role of partnership between education, industry, and job seekers in fostering a resilient and thriving economy. I'm grateful for the opportunity to represent @DukeEnergySC and support such a meaningful initiative.

On February 18, 2025, the Worklink Regional Workforce Area hosted a Pathway 2 Possibilities Business and Industry Showcase for 8th-grade students at the Anderson Sports and Entertainment Center. Jennifer Woody, Regional Workforce Advisor, and representatives from DEW, Dodge Industrial, Tri-County Technical Colleges, Be Pro, Be Proud, and many more joined together to provide an interactive, hands-on career exploration experience for roughly 5,000 kids. In addition to supporting 8th-grade students, roughly 100 high school seniors were able to participate in a senior showcase also to leverage their connection with business leaders in the area. Together, SC DEW, Dodge Industrials, Tri-County Technical Colleges, and the Anderson, Oconee, and Pickens communities are helping to identify a plethora of possibilities for the South Carolina workforce. #P2P #Pathways2Possibilites
