"Building for an agent-first future is a bold vision. Simplifying web data access for AI agents could unlock an entirely new generation of intelligent applications. 🚀"

In November, Boris Cherny uninstalled his IDE. He hadn't opened it in a month. A year ago he wrote code with autocomplete. Then he ran 5-10 Claudes in parallel. Now he doesn't even write the prompts. Loops do that. His job is writing the loops: h/t: WorkOS

Claude/Cursor MCP is more developer friendly but isn't meant for everyone working in an org. The workOS setup is a non-technical operator having multi tool. The model is designed to orchestrate amongst horizontal tasks by making it trustworthy and shareable at the org level.

Sovereign AI might take years or months to actually land but there are a handful of horizontal workOS agentic companies that don't get the same airtime and after looking closely at what one of them is building, I think the orchestration layer is where work genuinely changes first. It's less about the model and more about the thing sitting on top of it, wired into your whole work stack. More on it soon.

Customer renames an Okta group. Two minutes later, half their users pass your feature gate. Half don't. The @WorkOS dsync webhook fired. The payload had the new name. That was the trap. Wrote up the fix: dev.to/fetchsandbox/workos-d… @grinich

client only or full stack? the places it wants to get me are always hydration i just generally don’t do much client-side these days as soon as WorkOS Widgets are just skills, i’ll have very little use for front end UI libs
