Over the weekend, a few Celestron employees headed to the Wiseburn Education Foundation Star Party in nearby Hawthorne, CA, to share the night sky with the community 🤩✨ With the help of some amazing volunteers, we set up five telescopes and let hundreds of kids explore our Solar System and beyond. We showed the Moon, Jupiter, Saturn, and even a few deep-sky objects. Seeing the excitement on the faces of kids (and adults! 😉) as they look into the eyepiece for the first time is a thrill that never gets old. Positive news - joined a local astronomy club finally. I used to be member of the "Club d'astronomie maskoutin" before I moved and I sold most of my astronomy gear. Finally re-equipped myself with a Celestron Nexstar 8SE with all the bells and whistles including a StarSense AutoAlign and a Smartphone adaptor. I've never tried astrophotography and my scope is missing an equatorial wedge but I hope to post my first pics soon here. I think I might regret my choice since it's a big bugger. I was kinda split between the 6 inch and the 8 inch but anyhow, choice is made ... now I have to figure it out and get it working.

PCでSynScanのAutoAlign出来たの ベランダは狭くてダメ、外廊下で15ポイントできた でもこのあと天体導入すると明後日の方を向いた… (･ัω･ั)何が悪かったのかな 北向きで電源いれて、平行はとらず星を入れてやったんだけど水平いらなかったはず…

SynScanのAutoAlign、鏡筒の上にスマホを乗せてファインダー代わりにしているようなイメージだったので、PCのSynScanで接続して試す時もガイド鏡筒がファインダー代用のイメージでいたので、 考えたらプレートソルブならそのまま鏡筒のカメラでアライメントと導入したほうがいい 経緯台だし えー😅

( ﾟдﾟ)！ メイン鏡筒のカメラでそのままAutoAlign出来るんだと目からウロコです 私はPCのSynScanで試す時、 ガイド鏡の方のカメラ設定をしていたけれど、それだとガイドカメラとメインカメラを位置合わせしなきゃいけなくて難しくて出来なかったのです ﾔﾀﾞｰ今度FMA135で直にやってみよう

一般的な画像認識処理を行っていると思われるので、濃淡、または明暗のはっきりとした輪郭を持つシェイプである必要があると思います 彗星追尾とか言っていちいち軌道要素を更新して計算させるより、FireCaptureのAutoAlign＋AutoGuideのような仕組みがシンプルで汎用性が高いと思うんですがね
