🚨Fear Mongering Alert - Please read if you want to hear the truth no one talks about🚨 Wisconsinites are seeing more flooding but blaming the “climate crisis” is naïve or deceitful or both. Every day cities and industries pump groundwater for homes and businesses, treat it, then discharge it straight back into our rivers. In the Wisconsin River basin alone, permitted municipal industrial wastewater totals ~88.6 million gallons per day, all of it eventually reaching the river. Another example is the Fox River that runs through Waukesha County: during typical summer low-flow periods, treated wastewater can make up 50% or more of the river’s total flow, essentially doubling (or more) its natural baseflow before a single raindrop falls. Add exploding impervious surfaces — roads, roofs, parking lots, sprawl. These prevent rain from soaking into the ground and instead funnel it straight into storm sewers and rivers at up to 5 times the natural rate. Result: already-elevated rivers flash-flood far more easily when thunderstorms hit. These on-the-ground hydrologic changes are what turn “rain” into “historic floods.” Windmills and carbon taxes will never fix this. He highlighted that understanding the hydrological cycle is essential to understanding these linkages. When precipitation occurs, part of the water flows as surface runoff towards rivers and streams, while another portion infiltrates into the soil and recharges groundwater systems, creating a continuous interaction between surface and subsurface flows. Dr Rajan elaborated on key mechanisms such as infiltration, percolation, baseflow and groundwater movement, noting that river systems can behave as gaining or losing streams depending on the hydraulic gradient between river water levels and adjoining aquifers. These processes collectively form a single integrated hydraulic system, where disturbance in one component inevitably affects the other. He also outlined scientific approaches for quantifying river–aquifer interactions, including the application of Darcy’s law, pumping tests to determine aquifer properties such as hydraulic conductivity and transmissivity, groundwater level monitoring, and geophysical investigations. Sharing a case study from the Yamuna floodplain in Faridabad, conducted by CGWB in collaboration with local authorities, Dr Rajan demonstrated how integrated hydrogeological investigations, including groundwater level monitoring, aquifer mapping, and recharge estimation, can help identify sustainable water supply zones while maintaining the balance between river systems and groundwater. Aravallis don’t protect water, climate or biodiversity because they’re “600 m tall” they do it through foothills, gentle slopes, fractured rocks & ridgelines, most of which are below 100 m relief.... • Groundwater recharge happens mainly in lower slopes & contact zones, not peaks. • Seasonal rivers survive on baseflow from these recharge areas.. • Dust control depends on surface roughness & vegetation, not peak height.. • Wildlife corridors & scrub ecosystems exist largely below high ridges...

Mining still not allowed in hills above 100m Such videos are only propaganda. Hills below 100m height protect nothing. Avg height of aravlis is 600m. Mostly range is within 300-900 m height.
