I learned about these methods from watching Chamferzone tutorials before.
In my case, I've simplified many parts for my own use.
I think you can understand it sufficiently by watching this video.

Wanted to dive deeper into texturing and creating game-ready assets and decided to follow a couple ChamferZone tutorials to create this flashbang. Learned a lot and discovered how fun it is to texture and render in #MarmosetToolbag#b3d#3dmodeling#marmoset
Hey Lewis :D
I switched from Maya to Blender a few years back. I would recommend to check out @ArtOfPilgrim@cgcookie, @grantabbitt and @ChamferZone on YouTube. Really great stuff for both newcomers and veterans. Learned a lot from these guys, not just how to work with Blender.💪
Cheers mate! I bake all the high details onto a low poly version of the gun and then do the textures in Substance Painter. Learnt this from a fantastic Revolver course done by @ChamferZone. Probably could, but I guess it also depends on what you plan on using the model for!
ChamferZone and FlippedNormals all the way.
I'm not sure I'd been anywhere near as good, if it wasn't for ChamferZone; both in my journey to 3DsMax and Blender 3-4 years ago.
Old one but a good one the AK-47 tutorial by @ChamferZone I *think* it’s free now. I honestly recommend any of Tim Bergholz tutorials. Think I learned more from his tutorials than 4 years in college - chamferzone.com
This Remesh/Smooth modifier workflow in Blender I learned from chamferzone is useful, but is pretty inefficient if you already have Zbrush and can do the hipoly there. The remesh, smooth, and decimate modifiers all take a long time to run.
@ChamferZone has one of the best tutorials, including texturing, whith which I have learned the most. He explains why he does what he does, and that is important. Good communication & good work.
