As of today all cusma products do not have an added tariff from Trump. If the ones like steel and aluminum and cars have tariff’s it’s on the American consumer and not Canadians. Sure some products are made in the USA that are made from Canadian steel! More than 80% no tariffs

Bilateral Agreements aside from CUSMA…not in replacement of CUSMA. It is not unusual for the U.S. to be talking to Mexico separately, on their unique issues.

When Trump cancels the trade deal with Canada, tariffs will hit the auto sector and will have an immediate effect. Millions of jobs will be heading back to Detroit from Canada. My fellow Canadians (the liberal ones) all laughed saying “tariffs don’t work, Trump’s an idiot, we don’t need America as a trade partner”. We have just went into a recession, and Trump has suggested cancelling CUSMA. The knockout blow is coming to country that is already on its knees. Thanks to the Liberal voters, Carney, the state media and TDS.

Carney is hoping that this absurd public revelation will earn him and Canada some brownie points in the ongoing CUSMA talks. But there is enormous peril in prostrating oneself before a tyrant. This is appeasement cast as diplomacy with a noxious whiff of obsequious pandering.
