It won't, because most people have datacaps, and downloading all your mail, messages and photos over cellular can have negative impacts.

You were going to get an entire second of latency at the very least. Not even getting into how they tried selling this in countries with datacaps lol

VPN protocols are absolutely being blocked (for me at least), that's not even up for discussion. Why? No idea. I live in a state where ISP's cannot microtransaction for datacaps. They charge >1TB for other states. Possibly related, but that certainly be deserving of explanation.

Make "smart" phones connect them directly to Starlink truly unlimited 25 bucks a month to many companies lie and throttle people and give them datacaps we need unlimited connectivity that's the cold hard truth especially for AI

Readily accessible for now. We're one bad policy away from massive price hikes, throttling, gating content and datacaps. Betting the future of gaming on the benevolence of telecoms seems incredibly stupid, to me.

MTN Fiber/wakanet has never had datacaps. Internet was accessed throughout the billing cycle. However, it did have a throttling aspect to it where speeds would reduce when you hit certain usage numbers. It could have been changed. The market is competitive, with lots of ISPs.

In the EU ISP's are required to clearly define the datacaps, since Juju is in sweden which is part of the EU, EU laws applies.

Sin DataCaps por ahora No duden que las demás harán lo mismo tarde o temprano. Recuerdan cuando Netflix anunció lo de una sola cuenta por casa? Muchas le siguieron tiempo después

There were no datacaps on US internet for the longest time - to the best of my understanding it was UK ISPs that started porting over the cellular datacap models (needed due to infrastructure being less built out and more broadly used/shared) to squeeze more money out of people. They are completely unnecessary over hardline networks and IMHO predatory when used that way. My ISP has no data cap but they are becoming more and more common and they are slow to adapt to increasing filesize and streaming requirements. Based on downloads alone - if you're watching 720p Youtube you'd hit a 500GB monthly data cap in around 100-150 hours. If you're streaming and the data cap is all encompassing of your uploads (streaming out) and downloads (streaming in) you could very easily hit that cap in 30-31 days (744 hours).
