Docker creates containers
Kubernetes is used to manages the deployments/configurations/scaling/operations of those containers to a cluster(single or many) of hosts(servers).

Anything DevOps or infrastructure related is in HUGE demand. I’d say the AWS or Kubernetes certs are a great way to go. I know we’re constantly hiring for those positions. Plus with Kubernetes being so new the entry experience is a bit lower in the respect.

Cloud infrastructure is a good path. Google has a few certifications that can easily garner 6 figures. As Kubernetes is a HUGELY in demand skill set right now. Everyone is trying to be cloud agnostic.
