My last two #hamradio QSOs yesterday were in FT8, so here’s a small picture of my digimode setup. The DIY digimode adapter sends the TX audio to the Xiegu G90’s ACC port, but it receives the RX audio from the G90’s headphone jack instead (from ACC does not work). #Amateurfunk

Introducing "ChronoGPS" - RFC 5905 Compliant Time Sync Tool Optimized for FT8/FT4/FT2 and Other Synchronized Digital Modes In digital mode operation such as FT8, FT4, and FT2, the accuracy of your PC clock directly impacts decode rates - it's absolutely critical. The likelihood is that those who operate FT8 (or whatever digimode) do also operate voice as well, so the only reason I think many older amateurs take the hump at FT8 is because they don't like innovation, but amateur radio is about innovation as well as speaking to others on air

My first QSO via FT4 on IO-86 Digimode Experiment schedule 🥳. Somewhat tricky as you have to alternate with someone else as it's on FM. (Yes this is actually my first QSO via FT4/8, I never had success on HF before 😅)

Finally I can deploy the SatNogs rotator at my QTH (on a temporary location under the roof). First test was FT4 digimode experiment on IO-86. I can get through but can't decode it until the very last moment where I switch the receiver from RTL-SDR to an HT. Until next time!

So I tried something fun this weekend at the restaurant where I work. Throughout my whole shift, I wrote Digimon in Digimode/Digicode in the in an empty space of the brown paper bags we put the food in, hoping to see if any customer would notice the "unique" message.
