It seems like a lot of companies decided to make their respirators blue to make them look less industrial, but wound up making them all look like medical devices rather than something protective and fashionable(ish).

I REALLY wish they’d make the Envo in another color than surgical mask blue. Clear, beige, soft green, grey… blue is not a neutral color so it’s strange to me that they’d only do that.

The other thing is that if you need to spend time in a hospital then wear a mask. Like a real mask. Envomask or some other N95 or better. These places do not take respiratory precautions seriously.

You can feel the cold air rush in when the seal is broken. Very startling. I like Envomask with the gel gasket when I have to talk a lot. It allows more movement.

Envomask extended their expiration date from 5 years to 10 years by addding a sticker. They must still be on their original run of filters.

This got me thinking… my @envomask is my go-to mask due to the comfort & how well it works with glasses w/o fogging them… just remembered that I have some of their clip on front shields. Could totally print out a photo of my smile & glue it to one of these & be hands free!

A properly fitted, correctly worn N95 respirator offers excellent protection. I should know — I am immunocompromised and have kept myself safe for the past 5-1/2 years by wearing either an Aura 9205 or an EnvoMask whenever I am around people. I have not had Covid.

Meanwhile we’re at about 1,000,000 new infections a DAY in the US right now, from which thousands will die quickly from, many more after much suffering & years of gaslighting.

It’s not ideal but it’s about all you can get these days. Outside is best. I limit time indoors to as little as possible. 20 minutes or less preferably but did close to an hour at the DMV recently. Mostly I use an Envomask but I use a FloMask as well sometimes.

The last time I had to go into a restaurant to pick up takeout with my Envomask and wraparound sunglasses the crowd parted like I was Moses standing before the Red Sea. It was spectacular. Out in under three minutes.

Whatever mask passes a fit test on you is the way to go. I have tried 3 elastometrics and only one passed a fit test on me (envomask). Aura white strap is best for me.

I have only seen two or three people "out in the wild" wearing the EnvoMask. It is my favorite mask for sure. They make an "accessory" cover that snaps on to protect the filter from rain. It would be fun to have decorations for it. Would you like me to send you a mask and cover?
