Manipal College of Pharmaceutical Sciences (MCOPS) felicitated 𝗗𝗿. 𝗦𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗲𝗺𝘂𝗹𝗹𝗮 𝗞𝗵𝗮𝗻, Principal of P A College of Pharmacy, Mangalore, on 2nd July 2024. Dr. Khan, an Academic Council member of Rajiv Gandhi University, Karnataka, Bengaluru, has been nominated by the Government of Karnataka as a Member of the Central Council of the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) for a 5-year term.
Dr. Saleemulla Khan, a distinguished alumnus of MCOPS, completed his MPharm in 2003 and PhD in 2012. He has had a remarkable professional career, having served as a faculty member at Manipal College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Manipal, from 2007 to 2018. Since 2018, he has been the Principal of P A College of Pharmacy, Mangalore.
MCOPS takes great pride in Dr. Khan’s nomination by the Government of Karnataka as a member of PCI. The formal felicitation program commenced with an introduction of Dr. Saleemulla Khan by 𝗗𝗿. 𝗦𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗮𝘀 𝗠𝘂𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗸, Principal of MCOPS. The event was attended by Vice Principal 𝗗𝗿. 𝗞𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗻𝗮𝗺𝘂𝗿𝘁𝗵𝘆 𝗕𝗵𝗮𝘁, Former Principal 𝗗𝗿. 𝗠𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗮𝗿𝗷𝘂𝗻𝗮 𝗥𝗮𝗼, Heads of the Departments, faculty members, and research scholars. The highlight of the event was a concluding speech by Dr. Saleemulla Khan, which was well-received by all attendees. The event celebrated Dr. Saleemulla Khan's accomplishments and his contributions to the field of pharmaceutical education.
