I can't believe that we got into Y Combinator.
Six years ago, I made a decision that felt like career suicide. I dropped out of India's IIT-JEE rat race, where I had spent hours studying mind-numbing subjects, knowing the entire time that I could be building something that truly helped people.
When I came to the US for college, I thought things would click. Instead, I spent two years sending applications into the void while internship openings hit all-time lows. Just me, a few cool projects, and no network, hoping someone would take notice.
And that's when I met Pulkit Gupta via mutual friends at a dinner. Within an hour, we realized that we'd both spent entire weekends filling in forms and getting ghosted by a system that rewarded people for solving their 1001st LeetCode problem, but not for shipping their 10th project. And so, we started building Tsenta just for ourselves, because the alternative was another weekend lost to Workday.
Then came September 2025, and we walked into HackGT with no expectations. Our team Atlas won best use of Mastra and Cedar, and when we met the Mastra founders at a dinner in SF, they encouraged us to apply. I genuinely didn't think we had a shot, but we applied anyway.
Today, I'm incredibly proud to share that Tsenta (YC S26) has been accepted into Y Combinator's Summer 2026 batch.
I still don't fully believe it. But I'm learning that maybe the path isn't as closed off as I thought. Maybe you just need to solve a problem that irks you and the others around you, execute ruthlessly, and find people willing to take that chance on you.
Thank you to Jared Friedman for giving us that chance. Thank you to Jesse Li & Isabelle Ilyia, and to Shane Thomas, Sam Bhagwat, and Abhi Aiyer for pushing us to apply when we didn't think we were ready. Thank you to Eliam Medina for his keen mentorship at Telora. And finally, thanks to my Dad and Mom, who didn't stop believing in me for even a second.
To everyone who's been using Tsenta and giving us feedback, thank you. We built this because we lived the problem, and have some exciting news lined up!
Moving to SF this summer. Can't wait!
