I once asked Angular team why they don’t call that syntax HTMLScript. They didn’t get it. I asked them what’s the point of putting more complex language into less complex. The same. But now Misko is using JSX.

Says the man who made bloated madness known as Angular, where poor devs had to express logic in HtmlScript. Hey, you should say, “I fucked up it. Not even stupid forms worked there. I’m so sorry.” The code you write should have a warning like cigarettes have.

I'd call it HTMLScript. That way you can start two web dev arguments using only one word.

Ehm, more than typed JSX? Hardly. The only reason is familiarity, so instead of learning to understand existing AST, Vue and similars trick people to not learning existing AST by learning another AST with the same purpose. Profit! HTMLScript is a thing ✨

I spent several hours with Igor walking in Google Complex explaining why HtmlScript is shitty idea.

Angular 4 adds new "else" feature. Also shown, new "as" feature. Yikes.
How about we #UseTheLanguage instead of making a far worse one.
