Note what it says toward the end about students telling him they learned more in a few months internship than they did in their entire 4 year Exercise Science (sport science?) degree programs. @NSCA @IUSCA
I recently joined my long-time friend, @RobTrainSystems, on his podcast. We do this every other year or so to catch up on what's been rattling around our brains with respect to health and human performance, and it's always a good time. Check it out: robertsontrainingsystems.com…

I could just read the abstract but note researchers always seem to say "further research is needed."I wonder what the faces of MLB pitchers and NFL QBs say? Why not study these throwing positions in major US sports? What does Brewers pitcher Jacob Misiorowski's face say? What did it say in his most recent dominant outing? @NSCA @IUSCA
Highlights:
Face-based inferences of overhand throwing ability are reliable and accurate.

Skilled throwers have distinctive face shapes that may be driving these perceptions.

Inferences of throwing are biased towards ancestral projectile weaponry.

Perceptions of overhand throwing do not merely track assessments of strength.

Selection may have operated on the capacity to infer throwing abilities of others.
