Flash flooding is possible over and near recently burned areas including the Creek Fire burn area the SQF Complex burn area, the French Fire burn area, the KNP Complex burn area and the Windy Fire burn area. Heavy snow will effect the Sierra Nevada above 8,000 feet. #cawx

…Flash flooding & ash/debris flows is a major concern near burn scars. This includes the #CreekFire, #SQFComplexFire, #FrenchFire, #KNPComplexFire, & #WindyFire burn areas. Above 8,000 feet, up to 4 feet of snow will fall along with strong winds, reducing visibility.
