The Theodore Roosevelt Africa Sustainable Development Initiative (TRASDI) presents the Roosevelt Africa Trail.
The Roosevelt Africa Trail is a landmark project that will establish a cross-continental trail connecting culture, conservation, and sustainable infrastructure across Africa. Inspired by the historic Smithsonian–Roosevelt African Expedition, this initiative aligns with the upcoming celebration of 250 years of U.S. independence. It will focus on delivering heritage site development, green infrastructure, and community-driven development.
As we prepare for the U.S.–Africa Business Connect Forum on December 9, 2025, in New York, the event will convene U.S. and African government officials, investors, global institutions and innovation hubs to unlock trade and technology partnerships, offering participants direct engagement opportunities with key decision-makers.
