I recently took a look at this Shopify store's product page.
The "Before" wasn't terrible, but it was missing the psychological triggers that turn a browser into a buyer.
In the "After" (built with custom Liquid, HTML, and JS), I didn't just change the colors—I re-engineered the entire experience for Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO).
What changed?
Trust Injection:
Moved high-authority logos (Forbes, Elle, Girlfriend) directly under the hero section. In the beauty world, social proof is everything.
Visual Storytelling:
Replaced static reviews with a "What Our Customers Are Saying" video/UGC gallery. Seeing the product in action beats reading a text box every time.
Reduced Friction: Cleaned up the product form and emphasized the "Risk-Free" guarantee.
Mobile-First Hierarchy:
Optimized the layout to ensure the most important information hits the user exactly when they need it.
The Result?
A premium, high-converting experience that looks as good as the products themselves.
Templates are a great start, but custom code is how you scale. 📈
