I think that would be rad! (Though I should caveat that I've never been part of a company that did offsites.) ๐Ÿ˜‚ I *do* have an idea for doing something like this for indie devs as part of @IndieRails. Been thinking about it for a year, but haven't had time to pull it off yet.

Late post! Had a blast hosting another BCM.club dinner when I spoke at @MadisonRuby in Wisconsin last week! Love getting to hang out with new and old friends over some yummy food. Also tried cheese curds for the first time and they were amazing ๐Ÿ˜‹

I agree. In my @MadisonRuby presentation, although it was mainly about designing indexes, I suggested that Rails developers can write better Active Record by working with SQL and studying execution plans.

Just made it back to Switzerland after two awesome weeks! Both @RedDotRubyConf and @MadisonRuby have been so amazing, met so many old and new #rubyfriends. Feeling super pumped and motivated to go get back to work on things! Super proud to be part of the Ruby Community! โค๏ธ
