Also, if you're a man who's been invited to a manel (or a manference), either decline to participate, or raise it with the organizers & tell them you won't participate unless they find qualified women to speak (they are out there). Don't throw your hands up. You're not helpless.

Recently I learnt a new word “manel” which means all man panel, but I guess we’ll extend it to “manference” - all male speaker conference… so if you are a CIS white male speaker, please support diversity and be our allies. Don’t join any manel or manference please 🙏🏻
