The screens and only black and white pass through has me a bit worried. Still getting it though just to get away from MetaOS.

I am really digging this virtual joystick update in the latest MetaOS update! Would like to try and get this working natively in visionOS (create the same custom hand gestures) and also figure out how to get openXR from Unreal Engine to translate over. Hey @Meta and @Apple let's make this a VR navigation standard!

We are now adding VR support. Surprisingly good experience when using the controllers with dpads! Having said this... MetaOS development experience continues to be a disaster 😤 You need a PHd to connect the device to chrome://inspect 😡 Also, that audio in the video was not playing when I recorded it 🤬

Playing around with Meta RayBan Display. Audio and Capture are still strongest highlights, which you get with non-display version anyway. My take is Apple's strongest advantage will be OS and UX. eye tracking > neural band VisionOS >>> metaOS Still a very cool prototype

The biggest thing that Meta glasses would unlock for many people is activity stacking. Personally, I love walking. But it’s been a pain in the ass to allocate time for 10k steps daily (~1.5-2hr). Now if I can stack that activity with productivity tasks, like design/review/writing, that’s a win-win. MetaOS has the chance to lock this in before Apple does, provided they go all in on productivity apps. $META

600x600 resolution in a monocular device is NOT a "serious" disruptor. No mention of how developers create for the device. No mention does it have a new MetaOS or uses HorizonOS. No mention if developers can boot to their own Apps or MUST USE the Meta initial loading interface.🙄
