You can use Animated Texture resource with Projective Textures. Here I have created this caustics effect in my Apple Vision Pro app using a Low Level Texture API released last year on VisionOS. The Orb has a Bloom Component on it creating a beautiful glow.

I call it UnRealityKit. It's a UE5 RealityKit bridge for Apple Vision Pro. All those things you can't do in Unreal Engine for AVP due to Metal: eye tracking, standard gesture controls, room lighting & reflections, volumes, fully utilizing the M2/M5 chip... all possible now.

Apple shipped a first-party Godot plugin at WWDC26 and it's wilder than it sounds: it doesn't port Godot's renderer to Vision Pro, it swaps it out for RealityKit entirely. This is a volume. And it's Godot. ๐Ÿคฏ

Literal first impressions with Reality Composer Pro 3: The very first thing I noticed is Industry Standard navigation!! I just instinctively hit the Option key and tried left mouse to orbit, middle mouse to pan, and right mouse to zoom, and it just works. Wow. Baked lighting, cloth dynamics and script graph, just to name a few - they really are turning this into a game engine. I am just scratching the surface, but the new additions have exceeded my pre-keynote expectations ten-fold! @Apple #WWDC26
