Policy is Driven by Politicians not Babus, latter are implementers! It's Political Apathy that Indian IT created Cyber Coolies! When Sikka envisioned Infosys to venture into AI in 2016-17, it was poor Leadership at the Top, including Mr. Narayanmurthy that killed the initiative.

Firstly admit that you, Narayanmurthy just milked the west’s need for backend operations support and have built zilch in terms of true engineering capabilities - and then, do us all a favor and fuck off so that the others in the nation take the AI revolution forward.

Narayanmurthy, Pai & Nilekani are not true technocrats- they just milked the West’s need of a support system for their backend operations.

@NandanNilekani , Narayanmurthy and the founding cabal lack strategic clarity about the future and humility to learn from their missteps. They screwed up big time by firing Vishal Sikka and simply reinforced their legacy labor-arbitrage based business model. Code coolie culture😵‍💫

Why does Infosys require OpenAI despite its free hour work culture? Can they not transform on their own despite the 18-hour work culture? #NarayanMurthy #18HrsWorkCulture

Kapde kaun dhoyega, Huzoor! Ration kaun layega, My lord! I think this is the 'work more than 70 hours a week' moment of #litigation! Long live #NarayanMurthy and his ever expanding acceptance as a 'work-ethics' ideologue in almost every professional walk of life. Work, work, work

Ironic, sure. But the article is unknowingly signalling a trend towards "quiet luxury". I remember first coming across this concept through Nikhil Kamath's podcast. Caring too much about looking rich is now uncool, so to speak. There's several theories that point to why the rich are choosing newer ways to signal (or hide) their wealth status. One is simply a difference in cultures. The rich in northern parts of the country are a lot more casual with their flamboyance. Appearing wealthy is socially acceptable. As we go lower, we see that displays flamboyance attract a more negative moral connotation, so displays of wealth are more subtle. Then there's the middle class adoption theory which states that as soon as a commodity becomes easily accessible to the "not rich", it becomes cringy and loses its covet-ability. I think this applies to fashion especially now. As more and more households attain class mobility and move from upper middle class to high society, their access to branded bags or clothing or watches makes them less attractive to the uber-rich. And so, they do the opposite. Appear un-flashy, un-branded, or "quietly luxurious". It seems like they're adopting the virtues of "simplicity" and "humility" on the surface. But if you look closely, it's easy to see that while the vehicle seems to be changing, the driver is the same. #NarayanMurthy #SudhaMurthy #Wealth #SocialTrends

Nothing like that Tanmoy ji .. I cam give you 100s of examples of people .. Like Dirubhai Ambani , SRK , Akshay Kumar , Narayanmurthy .. Who taste success and everything only after marriage.. Before marriage they are just struggling with life .. Marriage completely change destiny of a person .. Will it be positive or negative that depends on individual birth chart combinations .. For some it will take you to next level .. For some it does bring issues and downfall like Virat Kohli .. So its different for everyone .. Generally when you marry your Venus improves as Feminine energy gets connected to you and it itself brings prosperity, growth and everything in a life a person ..

Narayana Murthy just shattered the AI panic: "The real threat to Indian IT isn't AI, it's human complacency." He's calling out the hype, noting that many products are just "silly, old programs" with an AI label. Focus on deep learning, not buzzwords.
