These reforms therefore automatically reshape how trademarks are categorised. So, businesses should expect to see new classes to cater for innovations like Artificial intelligence(AI), structural changes across several classes, and movement of products to other classes. Though the classification under the Trademark Regulations 2023 under the Third Schedule to the Regulations, remains unchanged, until amended.     For cross border businesses, the classification has been severally adopted and effective, especially under the  @ARIPO & @EUIPO frameworks.
