Not doing so risks brand dilution & confusion with Neotic Ventures Inc (who already use Nventures.com).
There may be a possibility that current traffic is lost due to .com owned by Neotic or vice versa.
The other party may sue also file a law suit for trademark infringement hence leveraging on Nventures.ai domain is a red flag.
This is a one-off chance!
For reference:

•Microsoft.vc → owned by Microsoft
Better to lock them in now than fetch for them later.
