PatchSeq puts a FM-filled, sequenced patcher inside your @vcvrack - review (and a tip or two)! cdm.link/patchseq-vcv-rack/ It, uh, makes other sounds, too...

I can only stress how much fun this fruitful collaboration was and still is. Thank you @neuronJoy and @internautderek! Looking forward to hearing your comments #paincommunity #patchseq #ionchannel #pain #itch #microneurography #transcriptomics
Happy Holidays! I’m really excited to share this preprint on using Patch-seq and other multi-modal methods to identify the molecular identity of silent nociceptors in the dorsal root gangion in pigs and humans! biorxiv.org/content/10.1101/… 1/

what a fantastic seminar we had by @LampertLabRWTH, Dr. Angelika Lampert on her latest work on sodium channel mutations and PatchSeq approaches! Thank you for the amazing science!
Happens today at 16:00 Eastern. Be there.

4. We aspirate the intracellular content into a PCR tube. 5. We proceed with an RNA-seq protocol for each PCR tube (cell). 6. We can perform immunohistochemistry on the remaining tissue section. More details nature.com/articles/nbt.3445 nature.com/articles/nbt.3443 #patchseq #neurons 2/2🧵

Thank you @bdxneuroschool for counting on me as an instructor for this #CAJAL course. I hope my students think now that PatchSeq is not that scary 🧬🔬 It was an amazing experience!

Our patchseq data has been used in a few papers. Nice to see it used here to show differences in Na(v) current in beta cells depending on HNF1A expression. We’re actively working to make this and other data more broadly usable and available. Stay tuned. nature.com/articles/s41467-0…

12/12 Challenging Isoform-Patchseq experiments are possible due to generous support from my postdoc advisor @JTroyLittleton and previous in vivo patch training in Zebrafish neurons. Thanks also to my PhD advisor @yaksi_emre for mentoring challenging in vivo patch experiments!

Fantastic work by Suresh et al. from the Littleton lab @JTroyLittleton ! The painstaking, rigorous PatchSeq RNA profiling of our favorite neurons will be foundational for some of our future studies. And I'm sure other labs will also greatly benefit. Thank you!
Suresh and colleagues’ work in our lab on characterizing Drosophila tonic (Ib) and phasic (Is) larval motoneuron (MN) properties and their associated transcriptomes is now out in BioRx, along with supplementary material valuable for the field. biorxiv.org/content/10.1101/…

We’ve only begun to scratch the surface of the biology that can be gained from Suresh’s Isoform-PatchSeq data sets, but hopefully others in the field will find it useful as they explore their favorite molecular pathways at Drosophila larval NMJs.
