Highlights from the Workshop on “Finalisation of Research Tools for the National Study on Open Educational Resources (OER)” Central Institute of Educational Technology (CIET), NCERT, New Delhi organised a face-to-face workshop on 29–30 January 2026 as part of the national OER study. The workshop concentrated on final methodological appraisal, item calibration, and empirical validation of research tools. Emphasis was placed on construct operationalisation, content validity, internal reliability, and pilot-study suitability. Following expert deliberations, all quantitative and qualitative research tools were finalised for the pilot study, enabling methodologically sound data generation and preliminary statistical inference prior to large-scale field implementation, in alignment with NEP 2020.
