I migrated the text rendering pipeline to MTSDF, which improves font sharpness, outline quality, and fixes several rendering issues with special characters. #PlanetaryMapping can mean different things to different individuals. What the @europlanetmedia #GMAPWinterSchool2023 deals with is geologic/geomorphologic. Underlying remote sensing data collection, or its geospatial handling, mosaicking, dataset derivation, are also mapping.

On 3rd Feb I'll be speaking at the #PlanetaryMapping #GMAPWinterSchool2023 about whether or not planetary geologists need to worry about AI stealing their jobs. 🤖🗺️‼️
