Some funny gun buyback news: the most-claimed gun in the program so far is the GSG-16, a cheap .22LR plinker These used to go on sale for well under $500, it's no wonder people are happily dumping them. They probably could have bought these for $600 without even banning them lol

You're moving the goal posts. Your chosen crew of gaslighting dweebs chose to call it an "Assault-Style Weapon Ban". So what exactly is assault-stylee about a .22 plinker? Can you name any army or gang-banger launching an assault with such a gun? Or is it, again, a load of BS?

Do you have any 22 pistols? Iโ€™d like to get a plinker. Theyโ€™re fun and cheap, comparatively.

The Hussar isn't going to be a decisive damage dealer, but you can use it to distract and peel enemy units off. Part of the game is to prevent the other side from massing firepower, and a nuisance plinker can peel off units to reduce the mass.

Youโ€™re kidding, right? You idiots banned the .22 plinker I bought specifically for my kids to shoot, literally the day after I took them out to shoot it for the first time. Youโ€™ve got people who are still not into the double digit age โ€˜up in armsโ€™. Wake up and look around, Canada is pissed off about this boondoggle.

my handguns are .40cal and .357mag and my rifle is a .308 but the general framwork of plinker, handgun, shotgun, longgun is about right

.22LR plinker and 1911 pistol at a rental range, during high school. Many other families would have taught their children to shoot at younger ages.

If/when they confiscate these in unrelated criminal matters the headlines typically read "Assault-Style Firearms and thousands of rounds of ammunition" because "Kids plinker with 3 boxes of .22 rimfire" doesn't sound frightening enough.

Texas, so it may be slightly different than elsewhere ... 3 pistols; 2 within reach right now. 3 rifles; 2 semi-auto (5.56 & .45 auto) and one pump-action plinker .22. not counting the 5 that were lost in that horrible boating accident last month,

My first gun that I personally owned was a Ruger rifle nearly 40 years ago. Though I don't have that same rifle anymore, I have been working on several variations of it to make the best possible zombie plinker for the apocalypse. Plinker might not translate as it is a particular idiom in English. Plinking is just having a gun you enjoy shooting at things (watermelon, 2ltr bottles, targets, the tree in your backyard, etc.) In fact, I have spent a considerable amount of money making it (them) as light and quiet as possible.

Shot a plinker single shot .22 at about 8 years old. I do remember shooting an AR15 in a national guard armory as a first year Boy Scout I think I was 13. Then there were hunting trips, November in the Missouri woods was always fun.

Mine was a Marlin 60, .22lr plinker rifle. Favorite one was my dadโ€™s Remington 788, a .308 bolt action rifle.

Nobody owns just "a" gun. You either own: zero guns or many guns. Once you buy one, you want to collect them all, like Pokemon Cards. Semi-Auto Handguns, Revolvers, Shotguns, Bolt-action Scoped Rifles, .22LR Plinker, Semi-Auto battle rifle (in case of Zombies, Invasion or "The Purge"). Also: Inherited guns taken from the battlefield in War by Fathers and Grandfathers can never be sold or thrown away. Russian AK-47's, German Lugers, Japanese Arisakas. They are all passed down from Fathers to Sons (and daughters) just like a Family Sword!
