Utilizamos tecnología de PIGs inteligentes (Pipeline Inspection Gauges) equipados con sensores de fuga de flujo magnético (MFL) y ultrasonido. Estos dispositivos viajan por el interior del ducto, escaneando cada milímetro cuadrado de la pared interna sin detener la producción.
En nuestra última inspección en el Mar del Norte, detectamos una pérdida de espesor del 40% en un tramo crítico que las inspecciones externas habían clasificado como “seguro”.
La integridad estructural no se asume, se verifica desde adentro hacia afuera.
