React Native me parece una opción decente cuando necesitas salir en Android e iOS y no tienes presupuesto para dos equipos nativos. El modelo mental de React es sólido, y de hecho Meta ha invertido fuerte en variantes internas como ReactVR y ReactAR, que están detrás de la UI en Quest. Dicho eso, si tengo la opción, prefiero siempre empezar con nativo en iOS usando Swift y SwiftUI, y solo después evaluar si vale la pena algo cross-platform.

github.com/ocornut/imgui is so easy to use. I had my own take on "immediate mode guis" back in the early iOS game days, but a broadly used project has a lot of convenience features. Tempted to replicate some Oculus UI with an IM GUI in C as contrast to ReactVR and Javascript.
