Hit my speed goal today! š Experimenting with a new form, mindful of lifting my knees first instead of my feet, then midstrike. It felt a bit strange, but it felt more efficient and faster. Iāll do this more often. Letās see. #runningprogress#newtechnique#workout
Todayās 45-min Easy run was a test. I pushed the pace to 7:30 min/mile and managed a HR of 129bpm on a hilly route.
5 months ago at the same pace my HR was 148bpm
Progress is the best motivation! š„

Out at 7am to beat the hit but that didnāt work. Super hot 4.5km run. She aimed and she scored. Big picture goal is to complete a 5k by the end of June. Itās in sight. Iām hoping to hit it at the weekend. #runningprogress
Today @Strava reminded me that 3 years ago I did a threshold repeats workout, with a threshold goal pace of 8:45/mile. Today I did an easy *recovery* run ... at 8:40/mile #runningprogress
