Most tri-fold masks don't pass a fit test on me. It takes a really good nose wire to keep the mask conformed to my high nose bridge and to provide good, air tight seal.
I can get a good fit with Drager 1950s, 3M Auras, SaveWo 3D Extreme Pro, Wellbefore 3D Pro (has to be the pro version with the improved nose wire) and Project 3/Tridents. They all have good nose wires.
The BNX tri-fold does not have a good nose wire. They talked on Reddit about plans to change it but said their equipment couldn't handle the solid kind used in 3M masks. So they said they'd upgrade to a better twin wire. As far a I know, that never happened, and would have required NIOSH approval of the change.
I find the nose wire of the BNX to be very abrasive on my nose and the mask to be the most uncomfortable tri-fold I've ever worn. It does not pass a fit test on me.
Fit is very individual, so your experience could be different.
