#snakemake 8.14 has been released. It supports setting the shell to use per rule if needed (e.g. if your analysis step runs in a container that does not have bash shell).

SeqKit is just such a fantastic tool for all kinds of work with sequences on the cli. As I prefer to work on the cli with separate commands for each op (much easier to turn scripts into #sciworkflows) seqkit for me basically replaces something like BioConductor #bioinformatics
