Very true. I still remember my B.Tech days, 4 hour ED sessions, almost standing and drawing everything by hand. CAD was a separate session then. Our professors were warm and lenient, but the subject itself was intense. We had ED across all 8 semesters. The sheets of those actually solving would often get smudged because others would come around with scales and instruments to see how it was done. That itself made it easy for the instructor to know who was really figuring things out. We also had Applied Mechanics sessionals, where trusses, beams, FBDs, moments and equilibrium had to be solved. Same league. Hard, but a huge learning experience.

Ok... So tomorrow I have makeup sessionals as I was detained in 2nd and 3rd sessionals. Now in these makeup sessionals, I have to give all 6 subjects exams with full syllabus back to back without break. Wish me luck 🤞🏼.

Sessionals done ✅ Took a small break from DSA (not planned, but it happens every time exams pop up and disrupt the flow 😢). Now with semester exams tentatively from 7th May, heading home for a bit… and honestly, yeaaahhh 💃✨ Time to reset, recharge, and come back stronger!

My wife started at a university Business Faculty in 2004. There were 110 full-time tenured academics. When she escaped in 2020, there were 15 and and army of sessionals teaching triple the number of students. The "system" is rooted.

Never said it was base pay. But using the base pay its close already. Sessionals and overtime bring it over that with ease.

Had to leave mid sems due to hepatitis A due to hostel food . Now have make up mid sems minor project submission lab sessionals some interview rounds for internships coming up . Don't know how will I manage all these .
