OpenBSD makes for a superb email server. The best part is being able to punish spammers using pf and spamd tarpitting. You can drip feed them a character per second, in some cases tying up their server for hours.

My admin has to go into my calendar, research it, type time by time by specific days, and back email clients. I’ve tried Gemini for Google Calendar (paid) and connected Google Calendar to GPT-5 and its garbage output. I used to have You Can Book Me but it was abused and even SPAMd. Who can figure out AI “when is Pat available”? I concede it could be sitting right there in Calendar and I missed it.

you could also do something super cheap, that you probably already do: scrape logs for people doing things like trying multiple passwords or hitting 100 endpoints in 10 seconds, then throw them into your firewall's queue for a gray list like openbsd's spamd, where it will respond 1 character a second for 30 seconds then kill the connection
