PRNU injection and natural spatial textures via loss function remain largely theoretical. In social media videos with compression, re-encodes, and motion, these techniques still leave detectable forensic signatures.
I ran the StatAttack degradation script on both clips:
On the Charlie Spiering X upload, the result is consistent with heavy compression and no clear signs of AI manipulation.
On the confirmed AI version created from his file, there were clear indicators, such as vertical banding, a bit of flickering, and very synthetic looking uniform grain.
This difference proves that StatAttack / PRNU injection does not successfully turn AI-generated video into something that looks identical to camera footage.
