#YanNing, founding president of Shenzhen Medical Academy of Research and Translation, and director of #ShenzhenBayLaboratory, has been named a laureate of the 2024 L’Oréal-UNESCO For Women in Science International Awards, #UNESCO and the Fondation L’Oréal announced yesterday. The noted Chinese #structuralbiologist is among the five laureates of this 26th edition, who have been selected from among 350 candidates worldwide. As a leading authority in her field, Yan inspires female #scientists globally and is a strong advocate for gender equality in research and science education, according to a press release by UNESCO and the Fondation L’Oréal.
