Awakening Mathematical Minds was a national-level summer programme organised by the ๐๐ฒ๐ฝ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐๐บ๐ฒ๐ป๐ ๐ผ๐ณ ๐ ๐ฎ๐๐ต๐ฒ๐บ๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ฐ๐ at ๐ฆ๐ฅ๐ ๐จ๐ป๐ถ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐๐ถ๐๐-๐๐ฃ. The programme encouraged undergraduate students and faculty members to explore advanced areas of mathematics beyond the classroom through expert lectures, hands-on sessions, and interactive learning.

The programme is designed to strengthen conceptual understanding, develop analytical thinking, and introduce participants to advanced mathematical applications through lectures, interactive sessions, and academic discussions led by experts.

Key highlights of the programme include sessions on Mathematics in AI, Cyber Security and Cryptography, Computational and Pure Mathematics, hands-on problem-solving activities, academic guidance for higher studies and research, and interactive learning experiences.

Our 2025 Summer Programme is drawing to a close this week. ๐ฅน
It has been a busy and productive seven weeks for our young learners, teachers, and Summer Programme staff.
We hope that our students have made life-long memories this summer that they will look back fondly on. ๐ฅฐ
To round off our Summer Programme, here are a few words from our Academic Intern, Ollie, regarding what our students learned this summer whilst attending our Summer Programme:
โIn the summer school, students can learn a lot and improve a lot in different aspects. First of all, they can acquire more English skills during the summer school here, from vocabulary to grammar, from reading to speaking. Moreover, through living here with local students and interacting with local people, they expand their horizon and learn about local culture. More specifically, we organise a weekly activity focusing on a theme for students. For example, it focuses on podcasts this week, so students need to prepare a topic for their podcast channel and present it in front of everyone. The winner will have the trophy in their class for a week. This activity not only practices their English proficiency, but also encourages them to have a speech in front of the public. Therefore, it is an excellent chance for them to show themselves in front of their peers and teachers. There is an old saying: Practice makes perfect. By practising their English for four weeks in summer school, they can enhance their overall English capacity.โ

A couple of weeks ago, we took our mid group to @rollerstop - and it was a brilliant mix of fun, laughter and great teamwork!
Some of the group were nervous at first, but everyone gave it a go, and by the end, we had skaters zooming around like pros ๐ผ๐๐ฝ
Itโs definitely trickier than it looks, but also way more fun! ๐คฃ
Next up: weโll be going on a camping trip with our older mid group - more memories incoming! ๐ณโบ๏ธ
