Led a staff meeting this afternoon where we ranked task design templates in terms of complexity and then considered how we can enable and extend each prompt.
My next step is to add the scaffolds and extensions into the templates before more trialling and refinement.

Year 1 have also recently concluded their geography learning journey on coastal environments. With thoughtfully designed tasks and scaffolding of knowledge, children gained a solid understanding of coastal features and their significance #taskdesign #curriculum

Year 3 recently completed their geography learning journey, where they compared the river Nile and the iconic river Thames. Weaving retrieval activities throughout the teaching sequence has had a huge impact on their ability to recall knowledge 🧠#taskdesign @IPAT_Edu
