It's helpful to have council members advocating for keeping districts together, but are they thinking about more than just their district? The #UnityMap takes the entire city into account so that ALL NYers are fairly represented.

Our members like Osman and Lokmani who live in Woodside and others in Richmond Hill Ozone Park support the #UnityMap. Decades of work for better council districts have taught us that we cannot advocate only for our own district. We have to think holistically.
