You could do what one of my friends do, which is
-Use arch/arch-based distro
-Use Virtmanager and QEMU
-Full GPU Passthrough that bitch
-make windowos 10 VM
-USB passthrough for quest headsets & sensors.
-Control DE/WM through SSH
I guess this works really well.

Pictorial of how to transition from the default repo in our Gnome 25.03 iso to the new CDN accelerated repo and then to install an appropriate pkgset.

did we forget about how cool this is? magically mounting host directories with qemu, kvm and virtmanager. I sometimes develop on my work Fedora from inside an Alpine VM or a different Fedora or RHEL VM, so I mount all the host code instead of filling up virtual drives

Agreed. Been using it since 2002, it's just straightforward AF now! Anything I need for windows payload dev or r&d, virtmanager. I don't game on PC anymore, only console. Proton has gotten great lately but I'm good with rpg stuff on console. can't compare wm or stability to *nix
