This is MS and webdevs fault for relying on package managers and LLMs instead of learning to code

It's just people going down the path of least resistance. People start out as webdevs, knowing only js, and so they gravitate to web frameworks because of "transferable skills" and whatnot, not realizing that just learning how to actually compile a program would've been easier.

Hello Omar, consider joining Reddit to promote your services. This is where I land freelance clients for my  fiverr gigs. Join the following subreddits to pitch your services there:  r/webdeveloperjobs, r/developersforhire , r/freelanceforhire , r/hireforgigs, r/B2bforhire, r/donedirtcheap... Don't put your fiverr link. Just the service. Comment also on the following SUBREDDITs by dropping helpful answers to the struggles people have : r/webdevs , r/webdevelopment,r/smallbusiness, r/websiteservices There are free  ebooks in my bio about that if you want to check out.

look at how these people talk about it though, they're all webdevs, they just talk about tech stacks and other webdev bullshit that doesn't give them a single bit of knowledge or experience in anything relevant to the product they probably asked chatGPT to make for them

Fable 5 aka Watered down mythos apparently is very good, but unusable to many people. In the case of any kind of relation with cybersecurity the model shuts itself down so webdevs are suffering alot.

That, or subpar webdevs, or webdevs.

we webdevs should pool our neurons together to create a C compiler written entirely in javascript to show those smug "system developers" who really runs the show

This is what millenials did. Fizzbuzz was their firm handshake. That's why there's millions of JS webdevs who don't know the first thing about CS.

It’s funny how most of the ‘advances’ in tech result in shit products. I wonder what the percentage is of webdevs that actually know HTML is now. Well written websites are as rare as gold coins. Ancient and valuable.

IOT participation was inadequately built out by webdevs for commerce/information to plan for this kind of agentic aggregation. It takes industry-wide adoption for viability, impossible, instead of simply aggregating based on front-end as agents do now.

The change in Copilot pricing model proves one thing: AI was never meant to be cheap. Today it's Microsoft moving to usage-based pricing. Tomorrow it could be Cursor, Codex, and everyone else. The era of cheap LLMs is ending and I believe soon vibecoding and people shipping their 2 am thoughts to websites will end. Eventually. But I don't think software development will get back to its roots back again. Senior developers and ppl with experience can still leverage from AI and use them effectively. What are your thoughts? #ai #vibecoding #webdevs
