In the first one, label the container "your worldsim (there is nothing "outside" it)" and in the second, label the container "the part of the world that you see (real)"

Yes, inductive reasoning builds the worldsim and deductive reasoning arises out of that. These together are the scaffolding that ties together sense data and let us do science.

A stand-in is the only thing that could ever go there. It's always just more worldsim. If you seal yourself inside a worldsim, there is no reality.

Notice how the photograph is a stand-in for reality. It looks like what you actually see - just more worldsim. It's trying to smuggle in your direct realist practical understanding of reality

if you read my feed as "worldsim seed prompts intended to hyperstition adjacent possible futures via /goal command execution towards eventual consistency" what happens?

There's no "actual duality". That was always a cartesian mistake. Notice how the "outside" is just a photograph that looks like what you'd actually see. If you seal yourself inside a worldsim, there can be nothing meaningful to call reality. Just more worldsim.

They then smuggle in their day-to-day direct realist knowhow of reality into their theorizing, and say well of course *that* exists, and there *must* be some way that my worldsim refers to it. At least, that's how I was when I was an indirect realist

but our experience is a worldsim. so it makes sense that there would be a vantage point in that sim representing the hardware that runs it, but there's no guarantee that other functions would have a physical location in the sim.

In dumbest thing I talked to many and they’ve suggested me to use rerankers Rerankers won’t work They don’t encapsulate why that tweet is good/not good for you when the entire Internet has cesspool of noise What would work is worldsim but on your social media experience Gonna give a jab at it

there are a few things to solve. recommendations, and friction. i think friction is solvable. recommendations, my intuition tells me that the dumbest thing imaginable would work conceptually you're treating the sites as light rankers

It must be already be like 2 years ago or so, but I already have such a nostalgia of my first worldsim sessions in Nous Research site, time and memory are interesting things...
Oh how we were young and beautiful...

Ooh I'll check those out 🤙 evolutionarily it would make a whole lot of sense for the worldsim to be concentrically shielded by the rest of the brain

WorldSim Mentioned
Jun 2
SITUATION EXPLAINED: Where did the idea behind today's AI coding agents come from? We asked @karan4d, co-founder of @NousResearch, to trace the lineage. "WorldSim was an experiment to show you can break out the assistant format, the base model has a much greater search space than its instruct counterpart." "That increased ability to ask more questions, ponder more options, simulate more possibilities gets lost through instruct tuning." "The simulated terminal with simulated apps eventually turned into WebSim, people simulating whole real websites." "Today, Hermes Agent, OpenClaw, Claude Code, they are the successor to WorldSim in that sense."

Love the cottage industry of people in like Bradenton, FL slapping some 2023 worldsim words onto their handles and becoming “consciousness researchers”. Called it years ahead of time. A new breed of cattle
