Bitcoin is a secure, censorship-resistant alternative. 🔹 FEDI = super app for activists – federated wallets, encrypted group chats, user-friendly recovery. No censorship. No blocking. 🔹 ABI (Africa Bitcoin Institute) fights for favorable Bitcoin legislation across Africa – lower remittance costs, economic development. Freedom technology isn't a luxury. It's a lifeline. ⚡🧡

Key takeaways: 🔹 Solve real problems first – Bitcoin was interesting but not spendable in Kenya. Tando fixed that. 🔹 Plug into existing rails – MPESA has 40M users. Tando integrated Lightning with what Kenyans already trust. 🔹 Hide complexity – Merchants receive Kenyan shillings, not Bitcoin. Users don't need to understand the tech. Build for your neighbor, not for Silicon Valley. ⚡🧡
